Our thoughts on the Yulin Dog Meat Festival The 2018 Lychee and Dog Meat Festival began last Thursday, 21 June and is being held until 30 June.
About 10,000 - 15,000 defenseless dogs are allegedly slaughtered. Daisy Campaign was founded in the memory of a senior dog, with the mission of raising awareness for vulnerable dogs. There are no worse examples of cruelty towards vulnerable animals, than a week-long festival that not only promotes the eating of dog meat, but is widely known for its abuse and torture of domestic dogs. Daisy Campaign urges all our supporters to protest this egregious abuse of animal rights by signing petitions to stop the Yulin Festival and sharing the message of condemnation online, and in person.
